Prep Time 5 minutes
Servings: 1
Course: Dessert, Drinks, Mocktail
Cuisine: Tropical

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Coco López cream of coconut not coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup Canned crushed pineapple do not drain
  • 1 ounce Fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup Crushed ice
  • Fresh pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry Optional garnishes

Equipment

  • Blender

Method

  1. Load the Blender: Add the crushed ice to your blender base first. Pour the pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and fresh lime juice directly over the ice.
  2. Blend Until Smooth: Secure the lid and blend on high speed for 30 to 45 seconds. Stop when the mixture is thick, completely smooth, and holds a uniform, creamy milkshake consistency.
  3. Pour and Serve: Pour the frozen blend into a tall hurricane glass.
  4. Garnish: Slide a fresh pineapple wedge onto the rim of the glass and top with a maraschino cherry.
  5. Add a straw and serve immediately.

Notes

Pro Tip
  • Coconut Cream vs. Coconut Milk: Always use cream of coconut (the sweetened, thick product used for baking and bars) rather than regular coconut milk. Regular coconut milk is too thin and watery, which will cause your mocktail to separate.
