Announcing your newborn to the world is joyful and exciting. You will probably want to announce the second they enter this world, but you will also be tired and very busy being a new mom. Preparing ahead of time takes the pressure off and will allow you to share your joy instantly without stress.
Draft the text: Write out your template and leave blanks for the birth details.

What to Prepare Before Delivery
- Collect addresses: Gather emails, phone numbers, or physical addresses into a single list.
- Select a photographer: Book a newborn session or assign a tech-savvy relative for hospital photos. At the hospital where we delivered
- Choose a platform: Decide if you will use text chains, social media, or a print company.
- Pre-order cards: Pick your favorite design online so you only have to upload the photo later.
What to Keep in Your Hospital Bag
- Letterboard or milestone card: Pack pre-arranged letters or a wooden “Hello World” disc.
- Going-home outfit: Choose a simple, photogenic swaddle or onesie for the first photo.
- Portable phone charger: Ensure your device stays powered during the busy first few days.

And while he may argue that this is incorrect, there are TWO different spellings for this particular name. I did not think to check with him before placing the order. So AFTER $300+ worth of personalized clothes I had just purchased and he was holding them in his hands-he told me it is spelled Cecelia, not Cecilia.
