Wine Tags for the Newly Weds

Marriage is an exciting new adventure. But vows say for better or worse for a reason. There will be many amazing moments, but there will also be some challenging ones. These wine tags are to remind the couple why they chose each other, commemorate the good memories & makeup through the hard ones.

What You'll Need

Printer
White Cardstock
Hole punch
¼-⅝” Ribbon
Six bottles of wine of various types
Basket

Wine Tag Steps

Click the image or the ‘Download Now’ button to open the link to a copy of the Google Slide tags to edit and personalize them OR the PDF Color Image Version
Print the file on a piece of cardstock
Cut & hole punch the tags.
(Optional) if using the Slides version, cut the tags along the inner outline and use the outer outline as a template to trace tag backings on colored cardstock to glue on the back of the tags.
Choose a decorative ribbon to tie your tags to your wine bottles.
Buy 6 different bottles of wine and add the labels.
- I try to buy shots that are relevant to the tags if I can. For example:
  - 19 Crimes: First fight
  - Non-Alcoholic Sparkling: First baby

Personalize It

In addition to the wines, I add other things from their registry and make personalized honeymoon couple’s swag or Mrs. Lingerie to a nice, reusable basket. I then arrange everything nicely in the basket, add one of my personalized DIY cards and give it to the couple just like that. It’s so beautiful and fun to display as is that there is no need for wrapping.

My sister was very excited about Mrs. lingerie and her and her hubby were very into the honeymoon swag so I made them both. 🙂 which you can find in the slideshow above.

Personal Note

Ours were so special to us. I still have them saved and remember when we used them. I used Our First Baby to announce to Neal that I was pregnant. And we brought Our First Anniversary bottle on the most romantic weekend getaway that I will always cherish.
